From his early days in Metairie to leading his own firm, Hayes Strategic Solutions LLC, his path reflects steady growth, clear goals, and a strong sense of responsibility. His story is not about overnight success. It is about consistency, credibility, and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. “I want to be able to sleep at night knowing I have done the right thing,” Hayes says. That mindset has shaped every step of his career. Kevin Hayes grew up in Metairie, Louisiana. His early years were grounded in family, discipline, and education.
He attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans, graduating in 1983. He then went on to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he was deeply involved in student life. He even ran for student government president and finished as the runner-up.
That early experience with leadership gave him a taste of public service. After LSU, Hayes continued his education at Southern University Law Center, earning his Juris Doctor in 1991. But his law school years were not easy. “I lost my father during my senior year of law school,” he shares. “Later, I also lost my mother. Those moments changed how I looked at everything.”
Those losses added a deeper sense of purpose. They also reinforced his focus on resilience and long-term thinking.
